[Narrator] The par for 11th hole on the Rio Olympic course
00:13
is the start of a four-hole stretch
00:14
where players really just have to hang on.
00:17
Before they're rewarded with the four finishing holes
00:19
that will allow them the chance to score.
00:23
The wind will be pushing balls from right to left here,
00:26
and all the trouble is down the left-hand side,
00:29
so they're really going to have to control
00:30
their shots off the tee.
00:33
We put a lot of exposed sand and native area down
00:35
the left side to guard the best angle
00:37
into the green on this hole.
00:40
Players who bail out to the right
00:41
are going to have a tougher time getting
00:43
their approach shots close.
00:48
There are bunkers to the front-right
00:49
and the back of the green, and players missing left
00:52
will go down into a grassy hollow and
00:54
be about four or five feet below the green.
00:58
The green is deep, and players will need to watch out,
01:01
especially for a back-right hole location.
