What's up guys?
I'm in a great mood this week
because I'm going on my yearly golf trip.
But more on that later.
First, here's what I'm buying and selling.
I'm buying Billy Hurley,
who won his first PGA Tour event in our nation's capital.
Just a few years removed from defending our nation
as a member of the U.S. Navy.
What a story.
And after, the 607th ranked player in the world
received his trophy
from the 582nd ranked player in the world.
Speaking of, I'm buying Tiger Woods as a TV analyst.
Tiger spent an extended time in the booth on Sunday
providing great commentary and some fun reminiscing.
Look! He even wore Sunday red!
But I'm selling Tiger as a Tiger analyst.
Once again he provided little detail about his recovery.
I'm sorry, but I'm getting impatient
with hearing Tiger talk about how patient he's been.
Come on, Tiger. Give us something.
We miss you!
I'm buying John Rahm
who finished T3 in his pro debut
at the Quicken Loans National
and took home a check for 400,000 dollars.
(cash register opening) Not a bad summer job
for a 21 year old.
And I'm selling getting a speeding ticket
on your way to the golf course.
That's what happened to me last week
as I drove to Golf Digest's
inaugural Train Wreck tournament,
and not surprisingly I didn't recover.
Mentally weak golfer on the tee.
But seriously, congratulations to Steve Hennessy
and Mike Johnson for winning the event
at Pound Ridge Golf Club.
Steve just happened to shoot a career low round
for a net 64.
With that kind of sandbagging
he would fit right in on my golf trip.
Now onto more important matters,
this week in models who play golf.
Here's Hayden Sylte showing off her golfer's tan.
Not bad, Hayden, but I think I've still got you beat.
And unfortunately, it's really hurt my career
as a sandals model.
And as always, we end with some random
but important questions to ponder.
Number one, who will win the 23rd annual
HGGA championship this week in Ocean City, Maryland.
Please, please, let it be me.
It's been five years since I won golf's other green jacket.
It's seems like an eternity.
Just look at that picture.
I was actually skinny back then.
Number two, would Tiger Woods ever consider
coming on my annual buddies trip?
Seriously, Tiger, you should think about it.
Should be a great move for you.
A nice little stepping stone back to the PGA tour,
get your feet wet with a little competition,
we could give you a couple shots.
[Voiceover] What? It's in Ocean City, Maryland
so you can sail your yacht right there.
And it doesn't start till Thursday,
so let me know.
And number three, would Billy Hurley consider
becoming my mental coach?
Look, I need to get tougher on the golf course,
and who better to learn from
than someone who has the Chairman
of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on speed-dial.
So, Billy, what do you say?
Do you wanna come on our buddies trip?
Tiger might be there.
Thanks for watching.
