There's a lot of analytics for us to look at
00:06
as teaching professionals now to be able to help
00:08
our players on tour to better use and facilitate
00:11
practice to help performance.
00:13
From 30 yards in on the PGA Tour, it takes the average
00:16
player 2.52 strokes to get the ball in the hole.
00:19
So for amateurs, this would go anywhere from the low end
00:22
of the low handicap to 3.1 strokes around all the way up
00:27
to a mid-handicap to a 30 handicap at about
00:30
4.5 to five strokes a round from that distance.
00:34
Knowing that it's 2015 and it's a busy world
00:37
and we're busy people who are playing golf, what this should
00:40
allow you to do is recognizing that you're taking over 60%
00:43
of your shots from 30 yards in, should show you
00:47
the next time you go to practice at the golf course,
00:49
that's where your whole focus should be.
00:51
Because if you have a slice, you probably slice it
00:53
consistently every time.
00:55
But it's around the green where you'll really
00:56
get your handicap better.
00:58
So just hitting 30 yard shots in a very simple pattern
01:01
from here to here, will really help you to shoot
01:05
lower scores when it's the end of the day that's what
01:07
golf is all about.
