[Narrator] Ian Poulter doesn't have a coach,
00:04
and what he uses is Trackman.
00:07
He's probably the player on tour
00:09
that I see using Trackman the most.
00:11
He has a very good understanding
00:12
of what he can and can't do.
00:14
And basically, all he tries to do is get a sense and feel
00:17
for what the numbers off of Trackman tell him
00:20
what his path and face are doing.
00:22
Ian has a little bit of what we would call a reverse spine,
00:24
to where at the top of his backswing,
00:26
he can start to lean a little bit left,
00:28
but he does a fantastic job of making up for it
00:30
on the downswing by getting his weight
00:32
back onto his right leg,
00:34
and then using the ground for power and exploding up.
00:38
He hits up on the golf ball,
00:40
and he has a tremendous understanding
00:41
of where his golf club is relative
00:44
to where his path and plane are.
00:47
Ian is proof that although the golf swing
00:49
may not look perfect, as long as you can repeat it
00:52
every single time, you can use Trackman
00:54
to dial in your golf swing.
