[Narrator] Danny Lee, from New Zealand.
00:02
Former US Amateur Champion.
00:04
Very solid player.
00:05
Swings the club back, very tidy looking action here,
00:09
sets the club reasonably early.
00:12
And we can see look how that right elbow's tucked.
00:13
I'd say he has a lot of flexibility to have that right elbow
00:16
tucked as much as he does, and also to be able
00:18
to have that full upper body rotation.
00:20
Now, let's see.
00:22
Good transition moving into his left side,
00:24
but then sort of stops.
00:25
Look how his right foot is flat on the ground.
00:28
Quite unusual there.
00:29
You'll see most players the knee will be kicking in,
00:31
the right foot will be rolling off,
00:33
and he'll be getting to his left side.
00:34
So he looks a little bit stuck through the ball here,
00:37
then the arms extend and it's almost as if the club,
00:40
the arms, and the hands are pulling his upper body through.
00:43
You can see how he keeps his head well down,
00:45
so could be a little bit of a problem as he gets older
00:47
with that lower back if he keeps that right foot
00:50
on the ground that long.
00:52
Viewing Danny Lee down the line.
00:53
A very good set up.
00:54
I love his angles.
00:55
Hands hanging naturally.
00:58
Swings the club back.
00:59
Let's see where we, full back swing.
01:02
Certainly gets a complete back swing.
01:04
Now as he starts down, watch his right foot there.
01:06
Look how it just stays anchored to the ground.
01:09
Unusual that, in this day and age.
01:11
Which is okay certainly for the driver.
01:13
We can see, look how his arms are extending.
01:14
Look how the arms actually are pulling
01:17
the lower body through at this point
01:18
'cause his lower body's not very open.
01:20
And so that puts tremendous amount of stress
01:22
on that lower spine, so maybe I would like to see
01:25
him get that right foot rolling a little bit more.
01:27
So as Jack Nicklaus used to say, you gotta work the ankles.
