The common fault for most golfers
00:05
is to underplay the break.
00:07
The thing that you have to realize is
00:08
the ball comes in at an angle when it goes into the center
00:12
of the hole with some break.
00:14
The straight on line that you have
00:16
through the hole like this,
00:17
that's not the center of the hole,
00:18
the center of the hole's off to the side.
00:21
And you have to kind of picture that in your mind
00:23
that you want that ball when it's breaking,
00:25
especially in the last foot to two feet,
00:28
that that's going to slow down and it's gonna to take
00:30
a lot more break and you're gonna have to play that break.
00:33
If you're just trying to die the ball in the hole,
00:36
as Ben Crenshaw does,
00:37
use all the hole to have that ball go in.
00:41
Then you have to play that extra break
00:43
at the end of the putt.
