The face position at impact is determining
00:05
over 90% of the ball's start line.
00:08
So the inherent part that's important
00:10
in being able to keep the face square
00:12
is finding a grip, and any grip that will
00:14
help you to have as minimal movement
00:16
in the club face going back and through as possible.
00:20
So the different grips that I would tell you to try
00:21
is one, conventional,
00:24
which is right hand under the left.
00:27
And then, well you can see I have the index finger
00:29
down on the right hand.
00:30
That's probably used by 80% of the players on tour.
00:33
You can use a cross hand, where the left hand's
00:36
underneath the right.
00:39
You can use a split grip, where the hands
00:40
are split on the grip from each other.
00:42
And then you can use the claw grip,
00:44
which has become popular in the last few years.
00:46
So like I said, none of these grips are right as wrong.
00:49
It's whatever one allows you to maintain
00:51
a stable face and a square face at impact.
