[Man] The green jacket may be the coolest trophy
in all of sports, right?
Forever, the green jacket was almost a holy symbol.
The club had very strict rules about it.
It's not to leave the property.
It's only to be worn at Augusta National.
The first guy that I think took it away
was Gary Player and he took it all the way to South Africa,
to the point that Cliff Roberts actually asked for it back.
And, I don't think Gary ever brought it back.
The rules from Clifford Roberts were pretty clear
that you're not supposed to be wearing this in public.
You're not supposed to be taking that away.
Phil Mickelson goes through
the drive-thru at Krispy Kreme.
And, what I liked about Phil's is,
he wasn't even trying to be funny.
Adam Scott, just puttin it on in the morning.
Gettin up with his pajamas on, eatin his cereal,
and puttin his green jacket on.
I thought that was kinda cool.
I think the green jacket is
one of those symbols in golf
that kinda goes beyond a trophy.
This jacket is like some symbol
that you've achieved the only thing
that's ever mattered to you in golf.
That's what it means.
What would I do with a green jacket?
That's a good question.
I think I would wear it every day
for at least a year, probably.
I think I'd wear that thing everywhere.
I think I'd sleep in that jacket.
I don't know how long it would take to set in
or how long I'd have to wear it before it actually sunk in
that I earned the green jacket
and I won it at Augusta.
Yeah, I mean, I would definitely
do something cool with it.
I don't know what.
That would be a dream come true for me,
and I see The Masters as the pinnacle of golf, for sure,
so that would be...
I wouldn't wanna ever let it leave my sight.
That's the ultimate.
That's the one tournament I'd like to win.
That's the one tournament I think about on a regular basis.
It's the one tournament I prepare for.
Looking forward to getting back to that place.
It's the biggest tournament for me.
