Here's a simple tip for anyone
00:05
that struggles out of the bunker.
00:07
If you have a tendency to leave the ball in the sand,
00:10
that means you're using the wrong part of the golf club.
00:12
You're using the sharp front edge
00:14
rather than the rounded back edge or the bounce.
00:17
In order to fix that problem,
00:19
a simple tip would be to get rid of your pinky.
00:22
Either tuck it underneath the grip
00:24
or raise your grip up enough so it's hanging off the end.
00:28
Both of these will allow you to use the bounce.
00:30
With your normal grip, you can pull the grip
00:33
in front of the club head and dig too deeply.
00:37
With your pinky tucked under,
00:39
you can take your normal swing,
00:43
see the ball come out nice and high and soft
00:45
and have success getting out of the bunker.
