To vary your trajectory when trying to hit a draw,
00:03
the simplest way I teach people is to change your grip.
00:07
You strengthen your grip.
00:08
I'm a right hander, so if I put my hands on this way
00:11
I'm gonna move both hands to the right slightly
00:15
but also I'm gonna start with the club
00:17
loose in my hands, turn my grip to the right
00:22
and then re-grip it, making sure the club face
00:24
remains in the square position it was before.
00:26
From there you can hit the ball high
00:28
if you keep your upper body tilt a little bit
00:30
behind it this way.
00:32
You can hit the ball lower by lowering your left shoulder
00:36
and raising your right shoulder.
00:38
But definitely the club face will be going
00:42
through impact at a faster closing speed
00:45
and will produce the draw.
00:48
In my case, my natural shot is a draw.
00:52
To hit it a little bit higher, basically what you do,
00:55
you pull your left shoulder up, right shoulder down,
00:58
play the ball slightly forward.
01:00
But also change the grip, make sure that grip
01:02
gets a little bit stronger so that
01:04
that club definitely turns over.
01:06
That's the way I hit a high draw.
