It's not always as obvious as a 25 year old
00:02
club head, that you need new equipment.
00:04
With all of my students, I evaluate their clubs.
00:07
So, I'll start with the club head
00:08
and I'll look at the grooves on the face
00:10
to see how they're worn.
00:11
I'll put some impact tape on the face
00:13
and have them hit some shots to see
00:14
where they're hitting the ball on the face,
00:17
then I'll look at the shaft flex
00:18
and the weight of their club and see
00:20
if it's appropriate for their type of a swing.
00:22
And then I'll even look at their grip
00:23
to see how its worn and where it's worn,
00:26
which'll help me with their golf swing.
00:27
Once we determine that your clubs
00:29
aren't correct for you, we'll go into a
00:31
launch monitor and help dial in the correct
00:34
shaft flex, shaft weight, length, and lie angle
00:37
of the club that you're gonna need
00:38
to help improve your distance and your accuracy.
00:41
Remember, having properly fit clubs
00:43
can really help you improve your game.
