My name is Michael Cummings.
00:01
I'm the performance specialist at SKLZ.
00:04
I'm gonna teach ya today how to use a simple object,
00:07
like the Slidez,
00:08
to increase your potential
00:11
to hit the ball a lot further.
00:13
You all know that rotator cuff health is very important
00:16
for that fluid swing and to hit it a ton.
00:19
So we're gonna go ahead
00:20
and show you how to use this.
00:22
If you don't have this,
00:23
go ahead and use a towel or somethin' else.
00:26
But your first progression is gonna be facing the wall
00:28
'cause it'll open up your shoulder.
00:31
I'm gonna stand right next to the wall
00:34
and start with simple rotator cuff movements.
00:43
And I can get bigger patterns as I feel more comfortable.
00:50
If that's easy for me,
00:52
I can then face away from the wall
00:54
and I can put it at my hand or my elbow.
00:56
This is more difficult because I have to keep my core
00:59
in a nice straight line.
01:02
And I, again, wanna bring this all the way through,
01:05
really getting that nice range of motion,
01:08
feeling that movement in that rotator cuff
01:10
and really opening up that shoulder girdle
01:13
that's gonna to allow me to hit more distance.
