Hi, this is Damon Goddard,
00:10
founder of AMPD Golf Fitness.
00:10
Today we're gonna be talking
00:11
about a little bit of knee health.
00:13
And knee stability is key
00:15
and remember it's dictated
00:16
by the optimal range of motion
00:17
in the ankle and the hip.
00:19
We're also gonna work on our glut,
00:21
lumbar, pelvic, hip stability.
00:22
I'm gonna give you two exercises today.
00:24
One's gonna be a single leg squat touch down.
00:27
I'm gonna use a little feedback on here.
00:29
Hover that left foot.
00:31
You can have your arms out, it's just counterbalance,
00:33
or crisscrossed for a little bit more of a challenge.
00:35
All I want you to do, sink on down
00:37
and barely touch that box and come back up.
00:39
Remember that left foot never touches the ground.
00:41
We're working a little bit of that balance.
00:43
Checking that knee alignment, come back up.
00:46
Hit about 10, 12 repetitions per side.
00:49
Then, I'm gonna use a ball on here.
00:51
We're gonna do a lateral hop to stabilize.
00:54
We're gonna lateral transfer our power,
00:55
but we're also watching that knee alignment.
00:58
So all I want you to do on this one,
01:00
load, come back up.
01:03
Stable, come back up.
01:07
Once again, do about 10, 12 a side.
01:10
Work on a little bit better knee health.
01:12
Remember, feel better, play better, unleash your swing.
