A lot of people send me pictures on twitter
00:06
and pictures of their swing that they want me to analyse.
00:09
It would be great if I could actually see what you're doing.
00:11
So here's a couple things to keep in mind when you're taking
00:14
a video of your swing.
00:15
First off hold the phone or your video camera just about
00:19
a little bit above hip-high and you want to position
00:23
yourself right in between the ball or the target line
00:26
and the toes of your feet, okay?
00:29
That's when you're shooting down the line.
00:31
The other angle that you're gonna shoot from
00:33
is gonna be face on.
00:34
Make sure that you're as square as you can get
00:37
when you do the face on picture and the down the line
00:40
picture you line up to wherever the target is.
00:43
Now, remember that no matter where you take a picture
00:46
you're gonna have some distortion.
00:48
If I have the camera up here it's gonna distort
00:50
the take away.
00:51
If I have the camera way down here it's gonna distort
00:53
the top of the swing.
00:55
So if you want to be specific about one point of your swing
00:57
or another, hold it low for the take away, hold it
01:00
higher for the top of the swing.
01:02
But right in the middle gives me a good idea
01:04
of exactly what your swing is doing.
01:07
We don't need any of the other exotic angles
01:08
just down the line and face on, those are two great angles
01:12
and I'll be able to help you with your swing.
