[Host] Bill Haas has a very rhythmical, flowing swing.
00:04
Very much old style in my opinion.
00:07
So rolls the club away, big full turn,
00:09
high hands, a lot of knees, a lot of feet,
00:12
and a lot of forearm release.
00:14
So very much an old style swing, reminds me a little bit
00:17
of Payne Stewart, but watch where his right knee finishes,
00:20
finishes ahead of his left knee,
00:21
we don't really see that much these days.
00:23
Interesting to note and address that which is good
00:25
for a lot of amateurs to copy in my opinion how his hands
00:29
are slightly behind the club head with the driver.
00:32
That really helps you hit up on the ball.
00:35
Something you might want to try.
00:37
So, big full flowing turn,
00:41
high hands, lots of knees,
00:43
and as we look at it from the other angle down the line,
00:47
you can see it addressed lots of movement, waggles,
00:50
he's in constant motion.
00:52
Really, even though he takes quite a while to hit the ball,
00:54
he's in actual constant motion.
00:57
We can see how he opens the club face going back
00:59
and basically closes it coming down.
01:01
We can see a lot of right hand and right forearm action
01:04
through the impact here.
01:05
Full flowing swing and I would say
01:09
there's a lot of timing involved here with Bill,
01:12
not the sort of more modern compact body control swing,
01:16
here a lot more of an armsy handsy type swing
01:21
and the lower body and the feet responding to the way
01:24
that the hands and arms are moving,
01:26
so it's very much an old classical style swing,
01:30
but very effective in many ways, and if there's one swing
01:35
out there you want to look at
01:36
for constant motion and flow, it's Bill Haas'.
