Let's talk about grip pressure.
00:05
On a scale of one to 10,
00:07
one being the lightest, 10 being the tightest,
00:10
you should be somewheres in the five, six, or seven range,
00:13
never more than a seven,
00:15
never below a five on a normal golf shot.
00:18
Why?
00:18
Let me explain it to you.
00:20
The tighter I grip this golf club,
00:23
the less feel I have with my hands.
00:26
I won't make near as much wrist hinge on the backswing
00:29
'cause everything's so tight.
00:30
The looser I hold this golf club,
00:32
the more the club comes out of my hands
00:35
and I have to grab it when I start down.
00:37
So it's very important to have the proper pressure
00:41
when you hold onto the golf club.
