If you're having trouble with
00:05
fairway bunker shots, here's a couple
00:07
thoughts that are gonna help you improve.
00:09
First, you're gonna take a wider
00:10
than normal stance, you're gonna put
00:12
the ball slightly back, and you're gonna
00:14
have your weight favoring your left side.
00:17
You're gonna take a three quarter length
00:18
back and through swing, trying to take a
00:19
very shallow cut of sand.
00:22
To work on this, I put a tee into the sand,
00:25
where the top of the tee is level with the sand.
00:28
What you're trying to achieve, here,
00:29
is to hit the ball without digging the
00:30
tee out of the sand, and it's gonna look
00:32
something like this.

00:36
(ball thwacking)
00:39
If you do that, I know you're gonna
00:40
improve your fairway bunker shots.
