By learning to have a better
00:01
(golf cart horn) weight shift and...
00:04
At least he said he was sorry.
00:06
If you can swing a bat, you can
00:07
stop topping your tee shots.
00:08
I'm Jason Guss, and this is Breaking Bad Scores.
00:15
The problem?
00:16
You keep topping the ball
00:17
right in front of you off the tee.
00:19
And the reason you do that is because
00:21
the club's hitting the top half of the golf ball.
00:23
The cause?
00:25
As you make your back swing,
00:27
your weight stays too much on the back foot,
00:29
and to avoid hitting the ground before the golf ball,
00:31
you start pulling your arms into your body.
00:34
So how do you fix that?
00:35
You need to feel like your weight
00:37
starts shifting more to your front foot,
00:39
and the arms start extending more.
00:43
I want you to take your setup and I want you
00:45
to place a golf ball in front of each foot.
00:47
This is just gonna give us a
00:48
good reference point for where we started.
00:50
You're gonna make your foot step back,
00:53
you're gonna make a back swing,
00:54
and then you're gonna step forward
00:56
and swing through and extend your arms.
00:58
The reason the front ball is there
01:00
is so that we actually don't step too far.
