You know whether you're a germophobe, a loner,
or just enjoy the convenience of working out at home,
the great news is if you wanna get golf fit,
you really don't need that much equipment at all.
So what do you get? Well, we've identified
the best damn gym equipment for golfers.
So before I tell you about what gym equipment to get,
you wanna remember three things.
You want equipment that's gonna make you more flexible,
you want equipment that's gonna make you more stable,
and finally, and most importantly,
you want equipment that's gonna help prevent injuries.
These are the three key points
to any good golf fitness program.
Okay, so let's get to the products.
And the first one we're gonna talk about
is a foam roller, like this one from SKLZ.
What this does is primes your muscles
for whatever you're gonna be doing that day,
particularly swinging a golf club.
Think of it like it's kneading
the dough when you're making cookies.
It's gonna make your muscles more pliable
and that is so important when you play.
So the next thing you're gonna wanna get
are stretch bands, like these SuperFlex Bands.
Obviously, they're designed to make you more flexible,
but the great thing for golfers is
that they are really portable.
You can throw them in your bag
and use them as your pre round warm up tool,
and that's something that you
should always do before you play.
Just remember that when you stretch
them out they do snap back.
Moving on to the next product,
remember earlier I mentioned stability,
well this Bosu Balance Trainer does a wonderful job
of training you to be able to swing in control.
You always wanna hit in the sweet spot, right?
Okay, so now that you've worked on stability,
it's time to take that stability,
and transfer it into power, and this next product
that you will want is definitely a power trainer.
It's called the Ballistic Ball,
and it's the smart medicine ball.
We'll call it the medicine ball of the 22nd century,
because it has a computer chip inside
that not only monitors how fast you can throw it,
but also how much force you apply to it.
So you can imagine after throwing that thing
around for a while how well you're
gonna be able to swing your driver.
Just one word of caution, be careful where you throw it.
You know the last piece of gym equipment
every golfer should have is a weighted bar.
You can do so many exercises with it.
Well, we like the ActivMotion Bar the best
because not only is it a weighted bar,
but it has moveable weights on the inside of it
that allow you to work on things like balance and stability.
It's really a great piece to add to your arsenal.
So as we said at the beginning,
you really don't need much to build
your own home gym, but what you do need
are the best damn pieces of fitness equipment in golf.
